Is god to blame for the credit crunch?
WTF are you talking about? As if it's atheist's fault this crap is happening. I would be interested to know the faiths of the greedy punks who shafted us all and are deciding to either flee or commit suicide.Man is to blame for the evil in this world. God did not create evil, He created the possibility or an alternative to good, so that we may have a choice to choose something other than good. Evil does not lie in God's power, but in mankind's freedoms.Ya know, I think god created nature, nature has perfect and immutable laws, cause and effect, duality, etc… and everything that happens to us is our own fault by working within those laws. I honestly dont think god works directly often, if at all.Wow, uh, no, hun, do some reading and keep up on current events and you will understand the credit crunch. Why would he punish those who don't believe and not those who do, he doesn't judge and loves all his children. Most people don't ask God before making a financial decision so, no consult, no intervention. Do you really think an investment banker asks himself, is this decision really good for my fellow man? No, he's like most of us: selfish and greedy.
If we really thought before we act, we could avoid 90% of the problems we face in life. As it is the consequences of the actions of an influential few will be visited on us all. That's just how real life works whether we believe in God or not.
