I recently opened an additional account with Abbey. Their confirmation of the new account arrived two days after I'd signed the paperwork. My PIN (for the new ATM card) arrived the day after, and the actual card came a further two days later.

Usually with a new account, you should have everything you need within five working days – regardless of who the account is with.

Your card should be with you by Friday at the latest. If you don't get it by Saturday – phone them FIRST THING monday !
