White hat: tutoring high school students, selling textbooks, learning some sort of useful skill, babysitting/adultsitting/petsitting, ebay, waiting tables, the list goes on. Short answer: GET A JOB. A REAL ONE. THAT PAYS SLOWLY AND MINIMALLY. LIKE EVERYONE ELSE.

Black Hat: go work as an exotic dancer for a few weeks at a club in the nearest major city. If you're 22 and you're good looking you'll make money.
Or, if you want to take it a step further, go work as an escort or be in porn. Again, this is all dependent on your looks and your willingness to be naughty for cash. And if you decide to do porn, do your homework first and don't do the casting auditions, they're generally scams.

Bet you can guess which one I chose lol! But the choice is yours of course…

After posting this question you may get many replies offering you internet schemes such as "How I make $4000 dollars a week" "make a fortune at home with your computer". I am afraid what ever they offer you up front or how many free trials they offer it is ultimately your money they are after.That is how THEY make the $4000 for themselves.

Never ever sign up to any money making venture where someone asks you for money, no matter what they promise. It is so easy to lose money yourself in the pursuit of finding a way to make some quick bucks.

Ask yourself this question "if it is possible to find an easy way of making quick "legal" money, why isn't every one rich?"

Sorry to be so negative but I am just concerned that you do not make the mistake of putting yourself into a bad position trying to help out your mum.
