I heard in the US that the UK is completely bankrupt & can’t pay the interest on it’s debt. Is that true?
No it’s not true, we’re currently able to meet our debt commitments. The country’s in a lot more debt than it was a couple of years ago and there are many concerns over the state of our economy but we’re not bankrupt and there is a lot of room to cut back on public spending which will be exploited after the next election, whichever party wins.Absolutely not true. if anyone cant pay its debts then its the US, that great bug debt clock calculator situated in time square new york has run out of digits and so is no longer valid indicator of american indebtedness
