This is a tough one on the first case, your friend does not have much of a case due to the fact there is nothing to prove but a recording of the debt, but the clincher for this is there is no time limit. so if she brings suit on this the judge will say its only been 4 months since recording and no time established so he has a yr to pay this back. now for the second case. she may have a case on the second one cause there is fraud involved cause of the forged signature. you don’t say how much is involved in either case. if the amount is less then 5000 then it will be small claims court if greater then it will be civil court which will cost about a hundred bucks to file either way
